The Maryland Horse Council has been invited to participate in a group convened by the MD Department of Natural Resources, at the request of a legislative leader, to develop a permanent, less complicated system governing Sunday hunting in Maryland.
The current system is a patchwork of rules that vary by county, and every year bills are introduced in the legislature to tweak one aspect of the system or another.
To help inform our participation in this group, we are seeking input from Maryland horse people about their use of trails and their experience with hunting.
