The Trails in Carroll County Need You! We Need You! How Can You Help?

Carroll County Equestrian Council maintains trails on publicly owned land in Carroll County at:

Volunteers are needed for regular trail maintenance coordinated by the CCEC. Volunteers provide their own tools and the work is coordinated by the CCEC. Volunteers provide their own tools and may participate on horseback or on foot.

Morgan Run NEA Trail Work – 2025 Year End Report
Despite two of the approved trail work dates being cancelled due to wet conditions (April and June) volunteers contributed over 340 volunteer hours to maintaining the
trails at Morgan Run NEA, Ben Rose Lane in 2025.
May 10 = 14 volunteers
July 12 = 31 volunteers
August 2 = 19 volunteers
September 5 = 14 volunteers
October 19 = 12 volunteers
November 16 = 14 volunteers
Volunteers used their own tools/equipment including tractors/mowers, golf cart, Kubota side-by-side and hand tools to keep the trails open and accessible.
Thanks also for the volunteer donations that enabled the portable toilet to be on-site.
Volunteers enjoyed lunch at the conclusion of each work day – a great time to share a meal and get to know each other.
Looking forward to another successful season of trail maintenance at Morgan Run NEA Ben Rose Lane for 2026.
