Hashawha Environmental Center will be hosting Hill Fest!, a mountain biking event on June 4-7th, 2026. There may be increased bike traffic on all trails, including the Union Mills Recreation Area on these dates. Please note that event organizers are working hard to ensure proper trail etiquette is followed, and all group ride leaders are well versed in right-of-way guidelines for horses on the trails.
Additionally, the event organizers have posted notices at all trail heads informing trail users of the event.
