The Carroll County Equestrian Council celebrated it’s 30th anniversary of participation in National Trails Day on 06/03/2023 at Morgan Run NEA with a trail work day.
The Commissioners of Carroll County issued a Proclamation declaring June 3, 2023 National Trails Day in Carroll County.
20 volunteers worked with PVSP maintenance staff on the encroaching vegetation and overgrowth, removed downed trees that were blocking the trails and mowed the trails with their own tractors/mowers.
Josh Bruegger of the American Hiking Society, the founding organization of National Trails Day, joined in our trail work day; photos and video interviews will be posted on their website and social media.
